Advancing Literacy in Arkansas & Beyond
We aim to promote literacy in all its forms through scholarly research, policy initiatives, advocacy, and community engagement.
Powered by the Brown Chair in English Literacy Initiative at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, we do this work through a vision centered on an ethics of justice, imagination, community accountability, and love.
Literacy Programs
From our academic journal The Sandbox to community workshops and events, there are tons of ways to get involved and help grow literacy within our communities.
Literacy Grants
We offer financial support to individuals and organizations working on the ground – empowering people to thrive in their chosen literacies.
Explore Literacy Potential with the Possibilities Hub
Through the Possibilities Hub, we explore literacy through a variety of topics and lenses, learning how to grow both our own personal literacies and those of our communities.
