Originally from Northern California, but now residing in Farmington, Julia has earned a Bachelors degree in Cultural Anthropology at UC-Santa Cruz (go Banana Slugs!!!) and an MA in North American History (Public History) at Arizona State University.

A “theater kid,” Julia has also been an instructor in youth dance programs. The daughter of a librarian and classroom teacher, Julia has been a very active participant in many of Northwest Arkansas’s local literacy programs, including book clubs hosted by local libraries and independent booksellers.
